St. Maarten

Home of SXM airport, St. Maarten is the Dutch side of the divided Caribbean island of Saint Martin. Comprising approximately 13 square miles on the southern side of the island, St. Maarten is a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, while neighboring St. Martin is a territory of France. A Dutch and English-speaking island, St. Maarten is known for its casinos, festive nightlife, beaches, duty-free shopping and native rum-based guava berry liquors.
